learn about our history
BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is a non-profit, non-political, non-representative student organization aiming to provide communication, cooperation, and exchange possibilities for students of technology since 1989.
BEST is present in 96 technical universities from 33 countries making it a creative, dynamic, innovative, constantly growing, and well-organized network of students. It strives to help students become more internationally minded and provide a platform for mutual understanding between different cultures and societies.
The organization seeks to create opportunities for companies, students, and universities to meet and work together. Each year, lots of local and international companies are involved in their projects. Thanks to many opportunities for networking, partners can engage students and have the chance to meet potential leaders and team-workers with exceptional knowledge, soft skills, and a multicultural mindset.
This year’s edition of the Final Round of EBEC is taking place online at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, organized by the volunteers from BEST Madrid Carlos III. The group was founded in 2005 and it has organized more than 100 events since then, developing students both from the university and all over Europe.
Over the more than 15 years of existence of BEST Madrid Carlos III, the quality of the organized events has been progressively improving while consolidating a network of partners towards achieving the best experiences for everyone involved in them.
